Alumni Catalyze Ideas and Research into Community Solutions at Young African Scholars Conference

Across Africa, young scholars are using research to transform systems and patterns of violence, aggression, and dominance. Two Future Generations alumni contributed their research and proposed community solutions as participants of the Young African Scholars Conference organized by the Harry Frank Guggenheim Foundation. Alumni, Gil Mulhovo (Mozambique) and Ikwo Udoh (Nigeria), presented on strategies to engage street youth of Mozambique using reality television and to build partnerships among health centers and prisons in Nigeria.

Alumna from Czech Republic Joins Classmate in Bhutan to Reimagine Children’s Day Care

After graduating from Future Generations Graduate School together in 2007, Tshering Yangzom and Jarka Lamacova have reunited in Bhutan to support the national extension of a new model of children’s daycare based on strong parent-community partnerships.
