Young golden eaglesYoung golden eagles, Aquila chrysaetos, on a cliffside nest. The golden eagle is the largest resident aerial predator in highland Tibet. These fine birds usually eschew the vast plains of the north and northwest, normally preferring to stay close to the highly dissected terrain.
