Dawn on the Salween River

Dawn on the Salween RiverThe Salween, one the great rivers of Asia, rises to the north of Lhasa and then flows east through gentle terrain, as seen here at about 4,200 meters, before turning south to thunder through narrow gorges.  Eventually the river debouches into the Andaman Sea near Moulmein in Myanmar.
