UNDP "Eco Hero" Broadcast to Feature the Green Long March

From December 29 - December 30, 2009, the United Nations Development Program (UNDP) "ECO HERO" series will feature the Green Long March on Tianjin Satellite TV. The "Eco Hero" camera crew traveled with Chinese university students along the Grasslands Route of Inner Mongolia as they documented case studies of environmental successes. The story focuses on the Sanbeilin Forestry Reform Program.

Each "ECO HERO" episode concerns an everyday topic in environmental protection, introduced by experts from the UNDP, as well as leading academics, government officials, and everyday Chinese people.

"ECO HERO" aims to give people information and entertain with scientific knowledge on environmental issues. The program is supported by the UNDP's environmental celebrity Ambassadors in China: Zhou Xun, Li Bingbing, Sandy Lam, Lang Lang, and others who call on more people of our planet to make a contribution.

"ECO HERO" is broadcast through the Tianjin TV satellite television channels as well as selected international channels.
